We journeyed to Substack!

We used to reach out when we had gigs, tours, and news to share—and we will still share those things—but we have been craving more of a community vibe, a place to connect with all of you.

Our newsletter is born from the sparks of our new album (coming May, 2026) which explores themes of parenthood, in particular the small moments of early child-rearing. We are interested in the day-to-day: when one of our kids first noticed the moon, when he called the stars her “babies,” the almost ritualistic nature of hands and knees floor-cleaning beneath the high chair three (or more) times a day…and the possibility for meaning-making within these moments. Here, we aim to open our eyes a little wider, sink into the simultaneous joy and terror of being alive and raising children at this particular moment in history.
